1. Information we collect
We may collect:
- name, email address, and any message you send through our forms;
- the focus, service, or membership you select when requesting a first conversation;
- what you choose to tell us about your life, goals, and circumstances;
- technical data such as IP address, browser, and basic usage, if our host or analytics record it.
2. How we use it
We use personal data to:
- reply to conversation requests, contact messages, and newsletter sign-ups;
- prepare for and deliver coaching sessions, including session notes we send to you;
- manage bookings, payments, and memberships;
- meet legal, accounting, and safeguarding obligations.
We do not sell personal data. Coaching is not medical or psychiatric treatment; information you share is handled as confidential practice data, not as a clinical record.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
We process data where we have consent (forms and newsletter), where it is necessary to take steps at your request or to perform a contract (sessions and memberships), where we have a legitimate interest in running a careful practice, or where the law requires it.
4. Sharing
We may share data with trusted processors who help us operate the site and email (for example our host and Brevo for transactional mail), and with professional advisers or authorities when the law requires it. Session content is not shared for marketing.
5. Retention
Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the life of the engagement plus a limited period for accounting and complaint handling. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You may ask us to delete data sooner where the law allows.
6. International transfers
If a processor stores data outside the UK, we rely on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses where required.
7. Cookies
The site may use strictly necessary cookies to function. If we later add analytics cookies, we will only do so on a lawful basis and, where required, with your choice.
8. Your rights, including erasure
Under the GDPR you may ask to access, correct, restrict, or port your data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and request erasure (“the right to be forgotten”). Write to [email protected] with the subject “Right to Erasure” or “Data request”. We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within one month. Some records (for example invoices) may need to be kept where the law requires it.
You may also complain to the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (datenschutz-berlin.de).
9. Children
Our coaching is offered to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page will change when we do.
